Alexandra’s Pin-Up Session

Alexandra is a model, advocate, and spokesperson for individuals with disabilities. I’m also very lucky to call her a friend. Having suffered a car accident at the age of 5 and becoming a paraplegic, she is a bright example that life is not dictated by your circumstances.

When Alex called me wanting to do a 1950’s pin-up inspired session, I was so excited! This makes our 4th session together and they are always a blast. I also knew this meant helping with styling, which I love doing with my clients. We checked out a local car shop, and immediately knew that was the perfect spot when we spotted the giant graffiti wall. The guys over at Infamous Customs were so gracious and accommodating on our shoot day, especially with it being a fully operational shop. They hooked us up with a beautiful vintage convertible and gave us the free reign of the space.  Big THANK YOU to them!

I hope you all enjoy a little sample of the session below. If you would like to hear more of Alexandra’s story or follow along with her adventures, check out her website
